Why don't you use A frames?

We stock both types however for larger events the capacity of the white van is approximately 1 metric ton, this means that after about 400 bikes worth of racking you will either run out of space or weight capacity in your vehicle. Once over the weight limit the simple honest plant trailer makes a lot more sense (and a lot more weight capacity) giving us more options for delivery. its only marginally quicker to erect and our product keeps the centre of gravity lower in the vehicles.

How Long does it take to erect?

There are a couple of goldilocks ratios that work depending on the time you have to put things together. Assuming you are fit and healthy individual and have access to a vehicle here are our pre-covid calculations

• 1 person, 200 bikes over 4 rows in 1 hour

• 2 person, 200 bikes over 4 rows in 30 minutes

• 4 persons 400 bikes over 8 rows in 1 hour

How many Bikes to a pole?

Why not aluminum?

We looked at this but the grade of the aluminum required would far out strip the savings in space bigger tube diameter and so on. It also makes it more attractive to thieves :-(

Can we come and collect?

Yes we offer dry hire rates and delivered rates.

All dry hire rates are paid in full in advance and then proof of insurance or fully refundable deposit is required ( varies on the qty required)

How do I know how much I need?

We work it out as:

1. Number of Participants / 6 = Bars

2. (Number of Participants / 6)+1 = Collars

3. ((Number of Participants / 6) +1) x 2= Legs
